We build leadership and workforce readiness in rising talent. The golf course is our classroom.
Golf Women Mean Business develops the next generation of leaders and prepares them for the workforce.
By bringing women onto the golf course for business and connection.
The world saw golf and looked no further. We played along. But the game was never the point. The course was always a classroom, building confidence, presence, judgment, and leadership.
We develop the next generation of leaders. The course is simply where it happens.
Immersive leadership and workforce-readiness experiences designed to prepare rising talent to lead.
We deliver Leadership Field Days in two ways. We host our own cohorts, funded through grants and community partners, with participants recruited from colleges and corporations. We also bring the experience directly to companies and colleges that want to use Field Days as a leadership-development training for their own people.
The golf course becomes a hands-on classroom where confidence, decision-making, communication, and professional presence are built and tested in real time.
01
Practical skills, professional expectations, and confidence that prepare rising talent to perform in the workplace.
02
Decision-making, communication, accountability, and composure developed through experience, not just instruction.
03
The poise, credibility, and relationship-building skills that help emerging professionals navigate rooms, conversations, and opportunities.

Founder, Golf Women Mean Business
Patrina King has spent her career building, leading, and developing people. A certified Project Manager (PMP) and Compliance Advisor, she is a business strategist, speaker, and author of Unpopular Leadership. She built and sold a federally regulated company, and her background spans human resources, operations, and entrepreneurship, the kind of hard-won experience no classroom can teach. She now leads GWMB’s mission to develop the next generation of leaders, passing on everything she’s learned to those coming up behind her.
